My Thoughts Regarding our Current Way of Life.

I decided to start a blog where I can share my thoughts and feelings regarding our current infrastructure in America.  I share these ideas with my fiance' frequently. She is a good sport about it most of the time and agrees, but other times she thinks it's crazy!  I would like to see if I can stir up some online buzz regarding this contentious topic.

We live in a highly developed world with: roads, cars, skyscrapers, dams, huge department stores and more!  I can literally sit here all day and give examples about how developed the world is.  I am not anti development, I think development to an extent is good and is needed.  However, we must find a common balance between our development and a sustainable world.  Too many people like to think we are separate from our the natural world around us.  I don't quite understand this logic, NEWSFLASH to those who have that mentality.  We eat, breathe and sh*t like every other animal on this planet!  We are indeed animals as much as some would like to think other wise.

The only difference is we have sterilized our environment and developed it so much we our deceived into thinking we are separate.  Through this sterilization we as animals are affecting all the other animals we cohabitate with.  It seems to me we live so a** backwards!  Nature has been doing its thing forever and somehow we think we have a better way?  I don't want to spoil future blog posts which are percolating in my head, but just imagine if we worked with nature and not against it.  We might not have so much destruction from natural disasters?  We might save valuable tax dollars? We might not have so much pollution?  We might have a more sustainable economy?  These are some possible topics which might be discussed later on through the blog.

If this blog seems up your alley, put your email in the email bar provided.  You will be notified of future posts!  If you think others would enjoy or like to weigh in, please share!  Let the fun begin as we ponder the thought of working with nature!
